Catherine Snyder is so friendly and approachable, unusual things happen to her. When she worked for a popular home fashions store, Cat complimented a customer on the stylish purse she carried. The next day, the customer returned — and gave Cat the purse.
Cat worked for a while at a medical center’s hospitality house, where tired families return to sleep after a long day at the hospital with loved ones. She listened to their stories, cheered them up with friendly conversation and made them feel at home. Often, she made them laugh.
She has an effect on people. You’ll notice it, too, when you see her smiling face at our front desk or hear her cheerful voice on the phone. Cat’s the kind of person who invites everybody over for a barbecue, then serves them her famous double frosted bourbon brownies or white chocolate cheesecake. She lived in Ireland for five years, absorbing the charm and wit that surrounded her.
Cat’s experience in retail made her an expert in customer service. Her time at the hospitality house showcased her powerful compassion. Add the dash of fun that comes when she dances to pop music at home with her two little daughters, and you get a perfectly warm, welcoming greeting into McGarry Bair. Her motto: be friendly and treat people with respect, and you never know what might happen. We invite you to come find out.
