Jessica Hessler likes to mix it up. While the classical chemist would prefer to work with other chemists, speaking in familiar terminologies and working within a known set of parameters, Jessica likes working on cross-discipline teams. Even when teammates literally are speaking different languages, Jessica believes that diverse groups deliver better solutions because there are so many fresh perspectives.
Now her research helps clients determine and describe how their product or invention is different from others. The client work at McGarry Bair suits Jessica’s taste for variety, as she conducts initial patentability research, writes patent applications and communicates with the patent office. She thrives on the intellectual discussion and data analysis that serve as the molecular structure of patent protection.
Originally on a pre-med track in college, Jessica was wooed away by chemistry. She liked doing experiments in the lab, analyzing data and writing reports. Many of our clients consider her a kindred spirit because she knows first-hand what it means to understand and solve complex problems.
